Galatasaray President Unal Aysal has declared that the Turkish outfit will head into their Champions League quarter-final with Real Madrid unafraid.
Galatasaray are regarded as the underdogs heading into their last eight meeting with Madrid, of which the first leg will be played next week, but their President sees otherwise.
“In this round all the teams are playing to defeat each other, but Galatasaray are not inferior to anyone,” Aysal told CNNTurk today.
“Real Madrid are very strong, they have a budget three times greater than ours and they have very strong players, but we also have great ambition.
“We have no reservations – Galatasaray will go on to the field to win.”
