A Real Madrid supporter has indicated that he has agreed to the club’s request to postpone a march through the capital in support of Jose Mourinho.
Fan Tonin el Torero was spearheading an initiative to have club supporters show in a public meeting their support of Mourinho.
However, following on from reports that the Coach was not keen on the timing of the march, scheduled for April 6, Tonin has confirmed that it will likely be put back.
“In the last few hours I have received calls from those at the club saying that Mourinho was happy, that he valued the initiative, but that he thought it could disrupt the team,” explained the fan to AS.
“I have been asked for the good of the team to leave this for later. They have advised me to put curb the excitement.
“Why? It could be that Mourinho does not want to affect the good work, or that someone might be able to use it against him.”
