The Catalans have confirmed via a statement on their official website that the player will undergo a course of physiotherapy and that the injury’s evolution will determine when he can next play.
Xavi briefly spoke to Sport to offer his optimism ahead of PSG on Tuesday.
“I will rest for Vigo [this weekend] but I will be there in Paris,” the midfielder is quoted as saying.
