Dani Alves admits that facing former Barcelona teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the Champions League is ‘a major concern’.
Ibra is now available for both legs of the quarter-final clash with the Catalans, after having his original two-game suspension reduced to a single match, already served during the Last 16.
“Ibrahimovic is a major concern, as he is a great player,” reflected Alves to RMC Sport today on the duel that now awaits him and his teammates.
“He is also a tremendous athlete. I was honoured to be his teammate.
“Also, we have faced each other in the past. It should be the same, compared with other times we have faced him.
“We must work hard to prevent PSG from scoring. We know that Ibra is a major player who can score at any moment.
“Nevertheless, it is also necessary to consider the other players at Paris Saint-Germain.”
