Former Barcelona B and Roma Coach Luis Enrique is today reported as a contender to take over at Premier League outfit Reading.
Enrique, who has been out of work since leaving Serie A side Roma at the end of last 2011-12 after the single season in charge, is reportedly on Reading owner Anton Zingarevich’s list of options.
The Russian is understood by The Daily Mirror to be considering the former Real Madrid and Barcelona player, who spent three years in charge of the Catalans’ B team, to replace Brian McDermott at the Madejski Stadium,
The 42-year-old former midfielder is understood to be Zingarevich’s latest option for the job, after Roberto Di Matteo and Gus Poyet, who are both reported to have turned it down.
