Barcelona striker David Villa has claimed that he always knew the Catalan club could overcome Milan.
The Blaugrana defeated the Serie A side 4-0 on Tuesday evening, thanks to goals from Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba and Villa himself.
And the Spain international has admitted that they believed they could come back from their 2-0 first leg deficit.
“We went for the win from the first minute,” he told reporters. “We believed we could do it from the start.
“We deserved it. With this, all the bad times are forgotten.”
