Jimenez: Not a good game

Manolo Jimenez conceded that Real Zaragoza struggled to find a way past Granada on Monday evening.

Jimenez’ side played out a 0-0 draw at home to make it 10 in a row without win in La Liga for the Aragonese.

“It was not a game in which we have earned a clear victory. There are players who, by now, have taken seen the responsibility take its toll,” lamented the Coach afterwards.

“Except from set-pieces, where Granada had their chances, they did not do much, while we looked for the victory, but lacked the final ball. It is a game that has not been good.

“The attitude of the team I liked. What has been lacking has been the calmness when we have had the ball.

“I think the game was locked, with many doubts and fears and with that very little could have been done. We tried to select those with the most experience and courage.”
