Cissokho: Valencia can beat PSG

Aly Cissokho is confident that Valencia will have their chances to defeat Paris Saint-Germain this midweek.

Los Che travel out to the Parc des Princes this Wednesday evening for the Champions League Last 16 second leg, 2-1 down from the first leg and without their first-choice centre-back pairing of Adil Rami and Ricardo Costa.

Even so, French full-back Cissokho believes that he and his teammates still have a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals.

“We lost at home, but nevertheless we will have chances to win in Paris,” enthused the 25-year-old today.

“We cannot be content with defending, we have to play our game. In football, nothing is impossible.

“It will be a tough match. Over there we will have to be patient, it will be a game with a great tactical battle. We will have to be strong in defence and take the chances that come our way.

“The absences at the back? I’m here to help and whatever the Coach asks of me I will respond to, plus it would be good for me to get the minutes.”
