Alvaro Morata has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world, after he inspired Real Madrid to a win over Barcelona.
The Spanish youngster started in place of the 28-year-old record-breaker in the Clasico yesterday, but the Blancos youth product has admitted that his substitute performance was 'amazing'.
“For me, Cristiano is the best player in the world,” he told the club's official television channel.
“His play today was amazing – it is a real pleasure for me to play with him.
“When the Coach told me I was going to start at the Bernabeu against one of the best team in the world – well, it was truly amazing.”
