Mathieu confident of overcoming PSG

Valencia defender Jeremy Mathieu believes his side can overcome their 2-1 deficit and beat Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday.

Los Che travel to the French capital looking for a place in the quarter-finals of this year's Champions League.

And the 29-year-old has insisted they have what it takes to be in the hat for the last eight.

“I've seen their last two games against Marseille, and they were both like our match with them,” he told AS.

“PSG don't necessarily want possession because then they can hit you on the counter-attack.

“We played well at Mestalla, but they ended up getting a positive result. Of course they have good players, but it's going to be a different game to the [2-2] draw with Levante.”
