Sevilla won’t make racism complaint

Sevilla will not lodge an official complaint against Diego Costa, despite midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia insisting he was racially abused.

The France Under-20 international took to Twitter after the Rojiblancos' Copa del Rey semi-final loss to Atletico Madrid, claiming the Brazilian had made 'monkey noises'.

But the Andalusian club will not lodge a complaint to the Spanish Football Federation [RFEF], according to terra.es.

And despite circumstantial evidence from the 20-year-old, the League cannot investigate the incident, as their rules dictate that only issues brought forward by a club can be looked in to.
