David Beckham believes that Cristiano Ronaldo will be 'inspired' by Old Trafford when Real Madrid play Manchester United on Tuesday.
Los Blancos face the Premier League leaders in the last 16 of the Champions League next week.
And the former England international, who played for both sides, has claimed that the Portuguese goalscorer will not disappoint on his return to the stadium he once called home.
“When you go back on that pitch, you have to enjoy the occasion,” he told L'Equipe. “And I'm sure Cristiano will be inspired by it.
“Great players are always inspired by night likes that, and I'm sure it will be a special game for him.
“United did well at Santiago Bernabeu, but it's hard to say who will win.”
