Fernando Vazquez has drawn great positives from his Deportivo side, despite losing 2-1 to Real Madrid on Saturday.
The capital club came from behind to beat the Turcos at Riazor last night, and the recently-appointed Coach has claimed that the performance shows what the team are capable of.
“We believed before, but now we believe even more,” he told a Press conference. “The fans said 'yes we can' and I think the same.
“We went at Real Madrid, but we just couldn't stay at a top intensity for the whole 90 minutes.
“We played some fantastic stuff in the first half, but we could not take the opportunities that were presented to us.
“We have improved in every way, but we came up against a team that is at the highest level.
“That is the reality.”
