Vice-President of the Liga de Profesional Futbol [LFP] Javier Tebas has admitted that he fears for the future of Deportivo.
The League administrator has claimed that the Turcos could fall into liquidation if they don't come up with a plan to repay their substantial debts.
“If we do not get a good agreement, we could be in a very complicated situation,” he told Marca. “If they do not reorganize their debt and meet deadlines, they are a candidate not to be operating in two or three years.
“It is hard to give an exact date, but in a few years, maybe a few months clubs [not just Depor] will disappear.”
