Sergio Ramos’ red card at the weekend has earned him a single game ban for Real Madrid, just as Tino Costa’s has for Valencia.

Ramos was dismissed less than 20 minutes into his team’s 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano in Week 24, for two bookable offences.

Complaining afterwards of the ease that referees have in sending him off in particular, the Spain international has been handed a one-game suspension.

Tino Costa also misses Valencia’s next game after his red card picked up at home to Mallorca on Sunday.

For accumulation of yellow cards, Sevilla’s Emir Spahic, Osasuna’s Miguel Flano and Lolo, Mallorca’s Javi Marquez, Real Betis’ Paulao and Rayo Vallecano’s Lass Bangoura all pick up a one-game ban.
