Isco Alarcon reflected on a tough night for Malaga, but is positive for the result picked up in Porto, believing that it can be turned around.
The Anchovies fell to a first leg 1-0 reverse in Portugal in a Champions League Last 16 encounter that left Isco grateful.
“After everything, the best thing has been the result. The 1-0 I believe we will be able to turn around at La Rosaleda,” commented the youngster afterwards.
“We faced a very tough game, very tactical and we were just allowed enough space to breathe. We are not in the best position, but 90 minutes is very long and we can turn the result around.
“The truth is that I did not fear a worse outcome because they had possession, but they did not create too many chances. They did not leave us a minute to play our football.
“Was their goal offside? We cannot do anything, we must now rely on us.”
