Real Madrid centre-back Pepe is hopeful of a reunion with former club Porto in the Champions League Final this season.
The Portuguese outfit are in action this Tuesday as they host Spanish side Malaga in the first leg of their Last 16 clash.
Former defender Pepe, who spent three seasons with the club, has commented that he’ll be cheering them on, in the hope of meeting them later in the competition.
“All the teams dream of playing in the Champions League Final,” began the 29-year-old on Antena 1 this week.
“Both Porto and Real Madrid are too. It would be a dream that both teams play in the final, because I have great affection for them.
“Porto are a great team and they have great potential to progress to the next stage. They are the favourites against Malaga, for me.”
Real Madrid are currently set at 1-1 with Manchester United after the first leg of their Last 16 tie.
