‘We’ll show no weakness vs. Barca’

Milan vice-President Adriano Galliani has claimed that his team will show 'no psychological weakness' against Barcelona.

The Italian side host the Blaugrana in the last 16 of the Champions League on Wednesday.

And the Rossoneri board member has insisted that his side will go toe-to-toe with Tito Vilanova's men, whilst also admitting that cup-tied Mario Balotelli will be a miss.

“Destiny means we have met Barcelona six times in two seasons,” he told reporters. “But we have no psychological weakness towards them.

“Balotelli inspires the other players, sort of like the 'Zlatan Ibrahimovic effect'.

“He gives strength and his performances have a collateral effect on the team. His goals are proof that we didn't just buy him for his media impact.”
