Cesc Fabregas has admitted that Barcelona's 2-1 win over Granada on Saturday night was a crucial one for the club.
Two Lionel Messi goals ensured that the Blaugrana came away from Los Carmenes with all three points to open up a 15 point gap at the top of La Liga.
And the Spain international has conceded that they could prove to be vital come the end of the season, whilst also commenting on the Champions League match against Milan on Wednesday.
“It was one of the biggest games for us,” he told AS. “Granada are a tough team, but the attitude of the players has been great all season.
“Messi and I like to play between the lines, but they made it really difficult for us. We have played a phenomenal game, and I think we deserved to win.
“The match against Milan will be very complicated because they are a very good opponent,” he added.
“We will go there to try and win, but in football anything can happen.”
