€20m minimum for Villa

Barcelona will reportedly only consider offers of €20m or more for striker David Villa in the coming summer transfer market.

The 31-year-old is seen as likely to be the target of a number of clubs this summer, as he enters the final year of his Barcelona contract.

Following on from a season that so far has seen him struggle to hold down regular playing time, Villa is seen by Mundo Deportivo today as still open to leaving the Camp Nou, if the club cannot guarantee him a regular starting spot in the 2013-14 season.

The forward is seen as targeting regular playing time in what will be a World Cup year. However, should he ask to leave, or should any clubs come in for him, Mundo Deportivo understand that Barca value him at a minimum level of €20m.

Arsenal were linked with a move for the forward in the January transfer window, before manager Arsene Wenger confirmed that the Catalans did not intend to negotiate his sale.
