Olympic silver medallist and current world champion sprinter Yohan Blake is curious to see Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo run 100 metres.
Blake, who finished second to world record holder Usain Bolt in the London Olympics last summer, was asked this week of Madrid forward Ronaldo’s pace over a football pitch.
The Portuguese has been clocked running the length of the field, with the ball at his feet, at around the 10 second mark.
“Cristiano is a mainstay of Real Madrid. He’s pretty quick. It would be interesting to see how he runs in the 100 metres. I think he would be fast,” commented the Jamaican runner at a publicity event this week.
