Javier Pastore has insisted that Paris Saint-Germain are 'content' with their 2-1 win over Valencia on Tuesday night.
The French side claimed an early lead thanks to Ezequiel Lavezzi and the former Palermo man, but a late strike from Adil Rami made the winning margin a slightly less flamboyant one.
And the Argentina international thinks that despite the last minute goal, his team have what it takes to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
“There is no doubt that we could have left here with a greater winning margin,” he told Uefa.com.
“Nevertheless, we have to leave here feeling some contentment because we got the win, which is what we aimed for.
“To a great extent it all went to plan for us. We stayed calm and controlled the ball. We could have scored more, but we gave a good account of ourselves.”
