A Bola have claimed that the Brazilian international is being tracked by the Blaugrana, and was one of the names discussed during Andoni Zubizarreta and Tito Vilanova's meeting in New York.
The 25-year-old has become an integral part of the Premier League team since his arrival from Benfica 18 months ago.
A bid of around €30m should be enough to prize Luiz away from Stamford Bridge.
