Tino Costa has asserted his confidence in Valencia to prove that they are capable of beating Paris Saint-Germain this week.
Los Che play host to the high-spending French this Tuesday evening in the first leg of their Champions League Last 16 clash.
Argentine midfielder Costa is adamant that whilst PSG appear to be favourites to progress, he and his teammates will be the ones celebrating a win come Tuesday night.
“We will go out and play it like any other game. They are an opponent and whilst it is possible for them to win, we will win. We know that we can beat this team and the proof will be tomorrow,” commented Costa at his pre-match Press conference today.
“After the draw it seemed that the favourites were PSG, but now it seems that the forces are balanced. We are very confident, we have our virtues and our cards to play.
“It will be a different match to that we played last week against Barcelona. The win will depend on what we do.
“PSG play very well on the counter-attack. They have a powerful strike-force, very fast and they can do a lot of damage.
“But we can be very strong on our field. We must believe in ourselves and go out for the win from the first minute.”
