Deportivo boss Domingos Paciencia lamented his side's lack of ruthlessness as they failed to make their man-advantage count against Getafe.
The Turcos lost 3-1 to the Azulones, despite the home team having a man sent off inside the first 10 minutes.
And although the 44-year-old Coach's men did have a player of their own dismissed late on in the game, he was still disappointed with their play.
“We did not hold back,” he told a Press conference. “We played about an hour with an extra man, and although we tried to stretch out the game, we couldn't make it count.
“Then, when the numbers were even, they were much more effective.
“There is still life in us yet though. We may be five points from safety, but we are doing everything to get out of the relegation zone.”
