Mallorca have taken Aston Villa full-back Alan Hutton on loan until the end of the season.
The Island outfit are known to be in the market this month for reinforcements to strengthen their squad in a fight against relegation.
Interest in Hutton, who has experience of British football with Glasgow Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur as well, was first rumoured last week.
The club confirmed late on Monday that they have concluded negotiations and that they will present the Scottish international to the media on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, the club are also believed on the verge of picking up Fernando Tissone on another loan deal from Sampdoria until the end of the season.
