Celta Vigo have strengthened their squad with the capture of Croatian international Danijel Pranjic on loan to the end of the season.
The former Bayern Munich man has joined the Balaidos outfit for the next six months in a temporary deal from Sporting CP of Portugal.
Celta have the option to make the deal permanent in the summer. Pranjic is best known for his three seasons in German football with Bayern, before last summer’s switch out to Sporting.
The 31-year-old, who has experience of Dutch football and League football in his native Croatia, has been capped 45 times for his country.
Celta confirmed the details of his move in a statement released on their official website today. The player will be presented to the Press on Tuesday evening.
