Milan want only Kaka

Adriano Galliani has again commented on Milan’s attempts to take back Ricky Kaka from Real Madrid, admitting that he is their only transfer target.

The Italians confirmed yesterday that they are in talks with Madrid and the player’s agents over a proposed deal.

Whilst Galliani last night reflected on the potential difficulty of any move, today he still made clear that the intention is to re-sign the 30-year-old Brazilian.

There is just one negotiation taking place and that is for Kaka. The numbers are difficult for him but we will give it a go,” the Vice-President told reporters in Italy.

“All three parties have to work well and the desire is there. Kaka wants to come, we want to sign him and Real want to sell – but we all have problems when it comes to balancing the books.

“A loan deal? We’ll see. There is a wages wall in Italy that you can’t get over now – we’ll have to find an imaginative solution.

“Our love for Kaka has never ended, it was never interrupted. We were forced to sell him because of the figures involved.”

Milan sold Kaka to Madrid in 2009 for €65m.
