Wenger on Guardiola rumours & Cesc

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that Pep Guardiola will coach in the Premier League next season.

The former Barcelona boss has been linked with a number of clubs all over Europe, but the French tactician is confident that the 41-year-old will go to England, and possibly Chelsea.

“Guardiola began his coaching career with caviar,” he told reporters. “He had all these world-class players to choose from at Barcelona.

“Would he get caviar at Chelsea? Well, they have all the ingredients for success.

“I can see Guardiola coming to the Premier League. He would have good players to work with at Chelsea.

“Pep is a great Coach, but at the moment they have Benitez, who is also good.”

The Gunners' man then commented on the future of Cesc Fabregas, who he believes will return to the Emirates Stadium one day.

“Cesc is a real Arsenal fan,” he said. “Of course, Barcelona is his home and you have to accept that, especially when your hometown club is the best in the world.

“But he loves Arsenal, watches every one of our matches and I am convinced that he will return here one day.

“I don't whether that will happen in two, three years. But after that, maybe.”
