Atletico Madrid could make a summer move for Chelsea striker Fernando Torres, reports in England suggest today.
The Sunday Express believe that the capital club are keen on bringing the 28-year-old back to Vicente Calderon with a season-long loan move in June.
The Spain international has scored just 26 goals in his 101 appearances for the west London club, but one source close to the newspaper has claimed, “Atletico love Fernando and Fernando loves Atletico.”
“He might have to take a wage cut to make it happen, but it would be a match made in heaven if it does.”
Torres left the Rojiblancos in 2007 where he became a club legend, netting a goal every other game in a six-year spell.
