Klopp rubbishes Real Madrid rumour

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp has denied rumours that he is to become the next Coach of Real Madrid.

Reports have claimed that the German tactician is favourite to take over from Jose Mourinho, with the former Chelsea man looking increasingly likely to leave Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.

But the 45-year-old has rubbished those claims, admitting that he has a contract with the Bundesliga champions until 2016.

“Maybe the Madrid fans want a German Coach again,” he told Bild. “Unfortunately I have to time for them.

“The truth is that I have a contract at Dortmund until 2016 – the rest are just rumours.

“It shows that a lot of people have seen our games against Real Madrid [in the Champions League] and they have liked what they've seen.

“There's worse things that could happen.”
