Sevilla have reportedly confirmed that Jose Maria del Nido was in London this week, but not for talks to sell Alvaro Negredo.
The President was rumoured yesterday to have travelled out to the English capital to conduct transfer business with a number of Premier League teams said to be interested in Negredo and even in defender Federico Fazio.
However, AS are reporting today that the club have denied to them that the purpose of Del Nido’s trip was transfer related, instead listing it as a ‘private trip’.
