Sevilla boss Michel Gonzalez hopes that his side's late 1-0 win over Osasuna on Saturday can be the catalyst for better things to come.
The Andalusian side have struggled of late, winning just one of their previous five games.
But the 49-year-old is confident that Emir Saphic's late strike can spur his side on to a successful 2013.
“We were nervous and anxious in the first half,” he told a Press conference. “After the break we managed to get the goal that will hopefully give strength to this team.
“Games are sometimes won in the final minutes and we have done well to keep believing and pushing.
“This win is a boost and it should serve as a reminder to these players that they can achieve many things.”
