Espanyol defender Joan Capdevila has claimed that his team have what it takes to beat Barcelona this weekend.
The Periquitos travel to Camp Nou to face Tito Vilanova's side on Sunday, and the 34-year-old believes his men can cause an upset.
“We are well aware that they are a great team,” he told Marca. “They are top of the table for a reason.
“But some day they will have to lose – they can't win all of the time. And we hope that will happen on Sunday.
“It will be a complicated and difficult match, so we have to go there with the utmost seriousness, but also believing that we can win at Barcelona.
“A good result there would help us enormously. We know it'll be tough [to avoid relegation], but we can see light at the end of the tunnel.”
