Caparros wants Tissone back

Joaquin Caparros is reportedly intent on reinvigorating Mallorca’s central midfield by turning to an old face in Fernando Tissone.

Argentine midfielder Tissone spent last season on loan at the Iberostar Stadium, making 27 appearances in La Liga, and is reportedly seen as a primary January transfer target by Caparros.

The Coach is understood to be keen to introduce a greater attacking emphasis to his central midfield and has reportedly asked the club to look into bringing the 26-year-old back to Spain.

However, a barrier to any move is seen to be his owners Sampdoria, who are believed by the Spanish Press to be reluctant to part company with him.

Former Udinese and Atalanta man Tissone has made 10 appearances so far this term for Sampdoria in Serie A.

Mallorca are seen as actively interested in reinforcing the playing squad during the January transfer window in an attempt to reverse a recent decline in results this season.
