Bojan Barca return possible

Bojan Krkic’s father has reflected that a return to Barcelona cannot be ruled out this summer, as his loan in Italy edges closer to its conclusion.

The youngster is 18 months through a two-year loan plan in Serie A, originally taken up with Roma and then transferred over to Milan during last summer.

The Rossoneri have a €14m option to make permanent Bojan’s stay in Italy, but the player’s father has hinted that a return to the Camp Nou might be on the cards.

“Bojan is in a privileged position. He belongs to two big clubs like Milan and Barca. We cannot rule out a return to Barca,” Bojan Krkic Sr. told Cope.

“But a lot can happen. The truth is that with Tito Vilanova he has always had a good relationship and mutual appreciation.”

Bojan, who hinted upon his original departure from Barca of a difficult relationship with then Coach Pep Guardiola, will return to the club with his Milan side in February when the two teams meet in the Champions League Last 16.

“He would have preferred to avoid Barca in the Champions League and to play against any other team. And in any case, encounter Barcelona later on. Any team facing Barcelona will do so as the inferior side.”
