Saviola wary of Porto threat

Javier Saviola has admitted that his Malaga side face a tough test when they come up against Porto in the Champions League last 16.

The Andalusians have been drawn against Vitor Pereira's side in the knockout stages of the competition, and the Argentine striker has conceded that his team will have it all to do to qualify further.

“Porto will be a complicated and tough opponent,” he told AS. “I played against them during my time at Benfica and I know how good they are.

“When we travel to their place, it is going to be very difficult to win – they are a very physical side and know when the right time is to play football.

“It's going to be hard to get through.

“On an individual level they have had some fantastic players in recent history – Falcao, Lucho Gonzalez. But now there are other players that are maintaining that quality and that level of play.”
