Barcelona have confirmed that Lionel Messi, Xavi Hernandez and Carles Puyol have all agreed to contract extensions.
The trio were three of many players to have been in negotiations with the club since the summer over extending their deals at the Camp Nou.
In a single statement released on their official website on Tuesday, Barca have confirmed that all three have agreed to new contracts and will put pen to paper in the coming weeks.
Captain Puyol has been handed a three-year extension to his deal that was otherwise due to expire next summer, whilst Xavi joins him in committing to June 2016, adding two years to his original contract.
Messi, meanwhile, who the club were suggested as keen to work out a rolling ‘contract for life’ with, will sign a two-year extension until June 2018.
