Diego Simeone could become the next Chelsea Coach if the Premier League club fail to lure Pep Guardiola to Stamford Bridge.
British newspaper the Sunday Mirror have reported that the Atletico Madrid man has been added to a list of managers who could take the reins in west London if they are snubbed by the former Barcelona boss.
The tabloid suggests that Guardiola has put Manchester United at the top of his own personal wishlist, and as such, the current European champions have been moved to draw up a list of alternatives for their dugout next season.
Simeone has now been added alongisde Jose Mourinho and Borussia Dortmund's Jurgen Klopp.
