Barcelona defender Eric Abidal has admitted that his recovery from a liver transplant in March is going well.
The French full-back has had two operations on his liver in the past 18 months, and it is still unclear as to whether he will ever play again.
But the 33-year-old has claimed that things are going well, gradually.
“We are taking things step-by-step,” he told TV3 at a children's charity event.
“It was very emotional to be here this morning.
“It is a great to be here for the children.”
