Dominguez on Valencia reunion

Rayo Vallecano forward Alejandro Dominguez has admitted that they club's match against Valencia this Sunday will be 'a bit special' for him personally.

The Argentine attacker spent two seasons at Mestalla, where he played just 22 League matches between 2010 and 2012.

But the 31-year-old has conceded that, for him, it is not about revenge.

“It will be special for me,” he told a Press conference. “But nothing more than that.

“In footballing terms, things did not go well there – but we both have to share the responsibility for that.

“Things did not go as intended. I was given no continuity, and as a player you need that.

“They have shown some differences since they changed coaches, but we are not just playing for a point – we want to win.”
