Mirosalv Djukic was delighted with his side’s workrate in winning 2-1 at Sevilla, but warned that they are still a team to improve.
Los Blanquivioletas became only the second side this League season after Barcelona to pick up three points away to Sevilla, but even so, their Coach sees room for improvement.
“My team are still growing and improving, but always with humility because so far we have achieved nothing and this League has much to go,” former defender Djukic reflected afterwards.
“I think we played a very good first half. The team did well, closed off spaces well and were tight, but in the second half we played badly and have allowed ourselves to be dominated by a great rival.
“When they have been down to 10 men we have not dominated the ball and that has happened to us several times away from home and Sevilla had the quality to score, but I am happy with the work of the players, they have worked hard.
“We have won in a difficult field, they are a difficult team to beat, but always if you work together and not think about it then it can become something else.”
