Chori castigates Braulio

Rayo Vallecano midfielder Alejandro ‘Chori’ Dominguez has made his contempt for Valencia sporting director Braulio Vazquez clear.

Vazquez has played a big part in Los Che’s firing of Coach Mauricio Pellegrino and hiring of Ernesto Valverde, choosing the latter personally.

Before Valverde’s appointment was confirmed earlier on today Dominguez – who was on Valencia’s books from 2010 to 2012 – was asked by a follower on the social networking site twitter who he thought would get the post.

“I would say my friend Braulio,” he replied. “Which is ultimately what’s going to happen, don’t you think?”

When taken to task by another follower for perceived disrespect to his former employers, the 31-year-old spoke out again.

“I say this with respect and I wish the club the best. But the betrayal is not forgotten. Just ask (Braulio’s predecessor] Fernando Gomez.”

Former Rubin Kazan and Zenit St.Petersburg man Dominguez left Mestalla last summer, joining Rayo on a free transfer.
