Fernando Macedo da Silva, Nano, believes that Osasuna’s goalless draw with Real Sociedad on Friday night is a sign of their improvement.
The Pamplona outfit recorded the draw to again move a point away from the bottom of the table, with the game seeing the side manage a third consecutive clean sheet too.
“The foundation always starts from the back. The team has improved enough defensively, I see this team as working well,” confirmed the midfielder today.
“For the game in general, it was right that it ended as a draw. The second half we suffered a little more, but the team worked pretty well.
“We now have three games unbeaten. Winning against Rayo Vallecano next weekend would be important.
“We now have more confidence, are looser, with more energy and this means that we are on a good run, you see everyone as better every day.”
