Aguero: City all-out to beat Madrid

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero says his team will be going all-out to beat Real Madrid in Wednesday’s Champions League clash.

Roberto Mancini’s men are bottom of Group D, having failed to register a single victory in four outings, and the Argentine international is aware it is a do-or-die situation for the Premier League outfit.

“We have a very difficult week with first Real Madrid and then Chelsea on Sunday, but the Champions League match is going to be fantastic and we need to win. We are going to give it everything,” he told a Press conference.

Aguero, who scored twice in City’s 5-0 defeat of Aston Villa at the weekend, did not play in the 3-2 defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu and admits the Blues’ chances of progress in the competition are hanging by a thread.

“First we have to beat a great opponent and then we’ll see how the other results end up. It’s very important that we respond offensively. To score [against Villa] made me very happy but the main thing is that we keep on winning.”
