JIM set for 50th game

Juan Ignacio Martinez will celebrate his 50th League game in charge of Levante at the weekend against Deportivo.

Travelling out to Riazor for the Sunday lunchtime fixture, Martinez will reach a half-century of games in charge of Los Granotes.

From his previous 49 games in La Primera with Levante, JIM has won 21, drawn nine and suffered 19 defeats.

Levante are the first club Martinez has managed in the top flight and he has already beaten previous records set by the nine other Coaches to have led the team in La Primera.

The 48-year-old has already overseen more games in La Liga with Levante than anyone else, achieved more wins than anyone else and has picked up more points than any other tactician with the team.

Martinez also took the side to a best ever League finish last season of sixth place, which saw them qualify for a first ever season in Europe for 2012-13.
