Zaragoza put five past Depor

Real Zaragoza came from two goals behind to beat 10-man Deportivo La Coruna 5-3 at La Romareda.

Jose Luis Oltra's men were looking for the three points that would take them out of the relegation zone, and they got off to the best possible start as Bruno Gama fired in from the left-hand side of the area.

Nine minutes later though, it got even better for the Turcos as Riki pounced on a poor backpass from Franco Zuculini and slotted home from close-range to double the lead.

Manolo Jimenez's side however, were not rolling over that easily, and they pulled one back just moments later as Tiago Pinto was penalised for a handball before Apono struck in the resulting penalty.

After the break, things went from bad to worse for Depor as first Pizzi was given a second booking for diving and then Francisco Montanes converted a Jose Maria Movilla cross to equalise.

The comeback was then complete on 66 minutes as Alvaro headed home after a Victor Rodriguez free-kick.

The away team’s misery was compounded with 12 minutes remaining – Victor again crossing, this time for Helder Postiga to head in past Daniel Aranzubia.

And the result was complete late on as Postiga added his second and Zaragoza’s fifth to give his side the three points despite Bodipo's late strike pulling one back.
