Valencia can win away, says Barragan

Valencia defender Antonio Barragan is confident Los Che can end their away game hoodoo against his ex-employers Real Valladolid.

Valencia have won their last three games, against Llagostera in the Copa del Rey, Atletico Madrid in La Liga, and BATE Borisov in the Champions League. However a record of no wins, four losses and a draw away from home has undermined their efforts in the League.

“Our away form is costing us,” Barragan began at a Press conference ahead of his side's visit to the Estadio Nuevo Jose Zorrilla on Sunday. “But we will work it out, and we will break the streak against Valladolid, with enthusiasm and desire.

“People can think what will happen in Valladolid, but we are calm and will go for the three points.”

It's a return to a former workplace for Barragan, who spent two years on the Pucela's books from 2009 to 2011.

“It's a special game. I trained with Miroslav Djukic, he treated me very well, I have only words of thanks. He is a close Coach, he likes to talk, hard working, always trying to get his teams to keep the ball.”
