Chelsea have reportedly dropped their interest in Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao and are already identifying other targets.
The London side are alongside Real Madrid and Manchester City as sides recently paired with a big money move in the coming transfer windows for the Colombian forward.
However, reports now indicate that owner Roman Abramovich has been dissuaded to make a bid in light of viewing the player’s €60m valuation as excessive.
Subsequently, it is understood that Chelsea are looking elsewhere to reinforce their attacking options, with Porto’s Jackson Martinez and Marseille’s Loic Remy named as their latest, less-expensive targets.
