Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels is well aware that Real Madrid will be out for revenge at the Bernabeu tomorrow.
Borussia defeated Real in Germany just under two weeks ago, leapfrogging the Spaniards at the top of Champions League Group D as a consequence.
“They will want to take revenge, and that's a wonderful challenge,” enthused the centre-back, said to be a target for Real's rivals Barcelona.
“I don't know what to expect at the Bernabeu, but the atmosphere will certainly be wonderful.”
Teammate Marcel Schmelzer, who scored the winning goal in the first meeting, is defiant about the German champions chances against a side he depicted as a steamroller.
“They will certainly be annoyed and will try to run us over. We must resist.”
